Paranoia – A Poem

Hand behind glass, illustration for paranoia funny poem
If there’s one thing that you should avoid,

You should try to not be so paranoid

Try not to let those worries in your head

It doesn’t really matter, because you’ll soon be dead

You could cross the street and get hit by a truck

It wouldn’t be surprising – you’ve always had bad luck

Or you could get stabbed by a mugger who is crazy

Or die from clogged arteries, because you’ve been so lazy

You could have cancer and not even know it

Or six kinds of STDs and not even show it

Or you could fall down the stairs when you’re in a hurry

But it’s really best to relax and try not to worry

Let's keep in touch.
